win the league. Paul Garrett missed out on two early opportunities, a free kick
parried by the keeper and a low strike skimming the outside of the upright, before
giving Stotfold the lead on 20 mins after he placed Joel Masons cross from the
right hand side past Danny Bircham in the Deeping goal. Joel had a good chance
to double the lead from Ryan Nicholl's cross 8 mins later, but didn't react quick
enough as his header was spilled by Bircham. A minute later amid shouts of offside
David Cobb ran clean through into the box from the left and was brought down by
Brad Gillham. Lee Ellison stepped up and shot low to Gillhams right for the equaliser
on 29 mins. A precise ball forward on 38 mins was brought down and away from the
last defender in one touch from Lee Allinson and his low strike from just inside
the box to the keepers left restored the deserved lead. A good strike from the
right at the near post by Andy Ellis, 50 mins, and powerful header from a corner
by Lee Howarth, 70 mins, were both well stopped and held by Gillham but the best
chance of the second half came a minute from time as the visitors were pushing
forward. 1 of the 4 players who played in the 10-0 defeat last December, Tommy
Hull, was put clean through on the right and after lifting the ball over the keeper
watched painfully as it bounced just wide of the far post. Brad Gillham,

Taylor 6 mins later. A great shot on the turn from Louis Lee forced an even better
save from keeper Matt Cope tipping the ball over the bar with the resulting well
worked corner being curled wide from Allinson on the half hour. The equaliser
came on 32mins after Bobby Dance forced an error from Ross Crabtree on the left
allowing Paul Garrett to fire a ball across the goal from the byline with Lee
Allinson stuning the ball into the net at the far post. Luke Donnelly put Garretts
deflected shot over the bar just before Joel Mason put Stotfold ahead on 42 mins
tucking Allinsons superbly weighted chip forward, low past Matt Cope. Masons second
came after some good work from Luke Donnelly on the left hand side of the halfway
line shielding the ball then launching a diagonal ball forward to the right for
Mason to chest down taking it away from his marker and then lob the approaching
keeper on 56 mins. After a poor challenge on Ryan Nicholl and some pushing and
shoving, Ref Shaun Barry showed Captain Michael Palmieri a straight red on 62
mins. Danny Dow forced a good low stop from Gillham after breaking down the right
before he pulled one back on 84 mins, after a poor clearance on the left, firing
low to the far post. Any talk of a comeback was quickly laid to rest when Mason
completed his hat trick on 85 mins, taking his goal tally to 7 in this competition
so far, Allinsons ball in from the right corner was redirected towards goal by
Bobby Dance with Mason poaching the at the far post. The time added on for the
earlier dismissal meant there was still time for Stanstead to create 2 good chances
with Mark Bryant clearing Paul Seymours overhead kick off the line and Greig Taylors
low shot comming off the bottom of the upright.

with
Danny Frid having a free header at Brad Gillham on 4 mins and David Coales header
and shot cleared off the line by Ryan Nicholl on 22 mins. The first goal came
on 35 mins when Lee Allinson headed Paul Garretts corner between keeper Shaun
Allen and the near post. The remainder of the half saw Raunds create the better
chances but Joe Rich headed over and Ashley Bradshaw shot wide from just inside
the box 3 mins from time. Good chances came for Allinson, shot blocked by Coales
on the line, and Louis Lee whose shot was deflected wide from close range after
Allen spilled a ball in, before Tawhid Juneja headed down from corner to double
the lead on 51 mins. Some very neat passing from Louis Lee and Allinson on the
right set up Garrett in the middle to place the ball into the back of the net
4 mins later. Louis Lee put a great opportunity wide after taking the ball past
2 defenders in the middle of the box and rounding the keeper on 56 mins. Mason
and Dance combined well on the right to set up Garrett for what should have been
his second but Dan Ridgeway blocked the ball on the line with his upper arm giving
the referee no option other than send him off, leaving Garrett to get his eighth
goal of the season from the penalty spot on 64 mins. Allinson wrapped up the scoring
on 77 mins with a well placed free kick round the wall into the far bottom corner
from the left taking his tally for the season to seven. This result sets up a home

Richard Hayward being replaced by Luke Blackmore from Hendon and Scott Waters
stepping in for Brad Gillham after badly bruising his chest at St Neots on Tuesday.
Two early shots from distance both went wide for Richard Howard and Carl Bruce,
before Joel Mason headed just wide of the bottom of the far upright from a quickly
taken corner on 10 mins. Cheshams goal came on 27 mins when Richard Howard put
Mark Lambert through to slot the ball under Waters. Up until this point neither
side were playing very well with the home team having a good spell after the goal
without troubling Waters in the goal. The second half started with one of the
quickest goals I can remember from a kick off with Louis Lee passing to Mason
who took the ball to the left hand side of the box, past the last defender and
curled a great shot round the keeper and in off the bottom of the upright. The
rest of the half seemed dull in comparison to this goal and other than Waters
parrying Carl Bruces low shot, and Blackmore stealing the ball from Louis's feet
chances were few and far between. The winners of Tuesdays replay at Roker Park
will have a home tie against Tonbridge Angels in the next round. Scott

FA
CUP 2ND RND QUALIFYING REPLAY STOTFOLD 2 CHESHAM UNITED 1
Mason and Garrett strikes seal win in thrilling replay.
Compared to Saturdays tie this was a much faster paced game with Stotfolds
initial worries over injuries carried over from the weekend not affecting the
line up with the only change being Mark Bryant replacing the suspended Ian Morrison.
Chesham's Danny Burnell started the first half off forcing a good tip wide from
Waters as he tried to curl the ball round him
from the edge of the box on 12 mins. An equally good save, from the visitors
keeper Luke Blackmore, denied Mason from the same position he finished from
on Saturday 5 mins later. Michael Sharman managed to shoot just wide after Matt
Skinners initial shot was blocked by Ryan Nicholl, shortly followed by Mark
Lamberts shot from the right bouncing back across goal off the inside of the
bar on 20 mins. The opening goal came on 37mins with Joel Mason being put through
on the right and shooting low to the far post, taking his FA Cup goal tally
this season to nine. 10 mins into the second half and Masons low cross through
the box was met at the far post by Garrett who stuck his shot into the side
netting from a tight angle. The Chesham equaliser came on 59 mins after a low
kicked clearance from Scott Waters deflected off Tawhid Juneja and fell for
Lambert on the right who squared the ball into the middle for Burnell to side
foot in. What turned out to be the winner came on 76 mins as Lee Allinsons free
kick, from wide on the left into the box, was only headed clear as far as Paul
Garrett on the edge of the box to perfectly volley into the back of the net.
The remaining 15mins plus stoppage time saw a hotly contested dissallowed goal
for Chesham, a good parry wide from sub Dom Marsalas strike, a shot cleared
acrobatically off the Stotfold goalline and a glaring miss by Richard Howard
sliding in and putting the ball over the bar from inside the 6yd box. All this
sets up another home tie on the 13th of October at 12.30 against Isthmian Premier
side Tonbridge Angels after they beat Maldon Town 3-0 in extra time.Scott

VASE 1st ROUND STOTFOLD 0 TRING ATHLETIC 1
After Tuesdays action Tring drop Stotfold back down to earth and deservedly
progress to the next round.
Stotfold had the better of the first half posession but few real chances
for either side with Lee Allinsons flicked header from a corner at the near
post cleared off the line on 10 mins, and Tye Norths low shot from the left
well parried wide by Scott Waters on 20 mins being the only real opportunities
of the half. Trings Vinnie Iannone hit a good ball across the face of goal which
Waters could only parry away from danger on 48 mins, this was shortly followed
by a good strike by Phil Otum which Waters blocked again with the reboung headed
over the bar by North. Allinson almost punished Trings keeper Michael Lavender,
after he spilled a ball into the box, but he but the ball wide on 52 mins. Stotfolds
best chances of the half came on 63 mins from a corner with Allinsons header
being parried on the line only as far as Louis Lee who headed over. Ty North
put a ball in from the right over the bar at the near post and as the game went
on the SML side looked the more likely to score which they did with a little
good fortune on 83 mins when Greg Shaws strike from outside the box deflected
off the rear of Ian Wilkinson to send Waters the wrong way and Tring into the
next round. Scott Waters, Ryan Nicholl, Mark Bryant (Bobby

HINCHINGBROOKE CUP STOTFOLD 0 NORTHAMPTON SPENCER 2
It wasn't the best warm up for this Saturdays game but with a few players
rested after the FA Vase exit it was an opportunity to see a bit more of the
team on the sidelines. The first half took a little while to get going but a
well worked ball, from Morrison to Freddie Morris then Bobby Dance, should have
finished with a goal but Callum Donnellys low shot from the edge of the box
went just wide on 22 mins. Spencers Kevin Slinn thought he had scored 5 mins
later when he was put through and scored but the ref pulled play back for a
free kick which the visitors took quickly but was comfortably cleared. Keith
Coughlins run towards goal was abruptly halted on the edge of the box with Dances'
curling free kick forcing a good low save from keeper Shaun Markie. Steve Jelly
missed a great opportunity when he recieved the ball on the edge of the box
with space around him and shot wide just after the half hour and Masons low
ball across goal flew just behind Morris in the middle of the box. The visitors
took the lead a minute before the break when Karl Bates put Phil Cassidy through
on the right to fire low past Scott Walters with the ball going in off the far
post. Mason forcing a good low reation save heading down from a corner just
after the break was about the best chance of the half for Stotfold with Spencer
getting their second after winning a loose ball in the middle of the park Kevin
Slinn fired in low from the right hand side on 76 mins. Scott Waters, Mark

FA
CUP 3RD RND QUALIFYING STOTFOLD 0 TONBRIDGE ANGELS 5
No big cup upset at Roker Park as Tonbridge Angels put 5 past Stotfold.
Todays early kick off dodging the England game attracted one of the biggest
crowds at Roker park in recent times with the travelling supporters enjoying
their day out more than the Bedfordshire side. After the inital tentative start
from both sides Hamid Barr was given a little too much space on the edge of
the box and chipped Stotfolds Scott Waters with the ball going in off the underside
of the bar after 9 mins. Hamid got his and the visitors second heading down
Jon Mains cross from the left on 23 mins with the United Counties side hardly
troubling visiting keeper Matt Read. When Stotfold did go forward the bit of
space created at the back allowed a Main to break down the left from shooting
low to the far post with Waters fingertips on the ball not enough to stop the
visitors getting their third on 30 mins. The only real chance for the home side
in the first half fell for the FA Cup's top scorer Joel Mason, but his stabbed
shot from a loose free kick was comfortably collected by Matt Read 10 mins from
the break. A good strong wall denied Barr getting his free kick close to goal
and Walters managed to get his hand to Mains shot tipping it onto the upright
to keep the half time score 0-3. The second half saw Ian Morrison come close
to pulling one back with his strike through the box being blocked and Paul Garretts
free kick going just wide, while Walters kept the away supporters entertained
clearing the ball skywards back across goal then collecting on the other side
after being put under pressure from Ryan Martin. Stotfolds better possession
in the second half was possibly down to the Isthmian side taking their foot
off the gas after the triple substitutions for Stotfold failed to produce any
more than Bobby Dance's header over the bar, Jon Main added two more on 84 and
86 minutes knocking a corner in at the post and a superb shot from the right
to the far upright to complete his hat trick. Scott Waters, Ryan Nicholl,

STOTFOLD 4 RAUNDS 2
Mason hat trick signals return to winning ways.
Raunds couldn't have fancied the journey down the A1 tonight, after the
two previous meetings this season and the driving rain, but the side at the
bottom of the league reminded us that there are no guaranteed points in this
league. Mason forced 2 good saves from the visiting keeper Chris Jones before
knocking the ball over the line from Garretts corner on 15 mins, some loose
marking allowed Raunds' Jamie Russell to level the scoreline after he fired
in a ball chipped into the box 4 mins later. Ian Morrison had two good opportunities
to nod Stotfold back in front from free kicks but a goaline clearance and a
misplaced header meant that it was Mason who put the Rokermen ahead with a superbly
weighted pass from Bobby Dance enticing Jones to come off his line with Joel
winning the race to the ball, knocking it past him and into the back of the
net 3 mins before the break. Mason completed his hat trick 10 mins into the
second half, after his header from Garretts cross from the left was tipped onto
the bar, he beat the defender to the rebound while the keeper was still on the
floor. The 2 goal cushion however was short lived, after Josh Davies punished
some napping at the back shooting low to the far post from the right hand side
1 minute after the restart. A good tip wide from substitute Joe Rich's shot
by Stotfolds reserve keeper Clive Weatherall on 88 mins, kept the lead intact
with Lee Allinson punishing a poor clearance firing through the box a minute
before full time. Clive Weatherall, Ryan Nicholl (Paul Donnelly), Mark Bryant,

LONG BUCKBY
3 STOTFOLD 3
After leading 2-0 at half time Bucks peg Stotfold back to take share of points.
The first good chances of the game came for the hosts, but a good double save
from close range by Clive Weatherall denied Long Buckby the opener 8 mins in.
Paul Garrett had a
great
opportunity to start the scoring, heading Masons filicked on cross down at keeper
Martyn Margason, which he collected at the second attempt a few mins later.
On 21 mins, while Buckby Captain Darren Harmon was appealing to the Referee,
Juneja's quickly taken throw in was flicked onto Mason who made a little space
for himself with the first touch and fired in from around the penalty spot.
5 mins later, after a foul on Callum Donnelly, Paul Garretts free kick from
the right was curled towards the keeper and after he had stooped to collect
it the ball bounced up and Lee Allinson pounced to head in from close range.
The home team didn't trouble the Stotfold goal for the rest of the half with
a couple of shots from distance and a handball shout just before the break.
The second half saw a sharper Long Buckby side and after Bobby Dance headed
Garretts pinpoint cross from the left over the bar 2 mins in, the better chances
started to come their way. Just as Stotfold had done in the first half, the
Bucks pulled 2 goals back in 5 mins with Ben Foster slipping in behind the last
defender on the left and shooting low to the far post on 55 mins and Andreas
Kattos volleying in a flicked forward free kick from close range shortly after.
The lead was quickly restored 4 mins later after ball forward for Mason to chase
was met by keeper Margason but his clearance fell short of the halfway line
and Garrett smartly curled the ball into the empty net from just inside the
oppositions half. A good low save from Weatherall stopped Kattos from getting
his second but a lack of concentration at the back allowed Ben Foster in to
fire his second in from the right to the far post on 84 mins. Clive Weatherall,

Tawhid Juneja.Extra time saw the Swans go back in front with a Drew Mitten effort

1 BOSTON TOWN 3
Two chances went begging for both sides in the first 5 mins with Bostons
Paul Goodhand dragging a shot wide and Joel Mason taking Lee Allinsons ball
forward too close to keeper Bart Griemink allowing him to get a hand to the
ball. The first goal came after Stotfold failed to clear the ball effectively,
with the ricocheted clearance falling kindly for Gareth Pritchard on the right
allowing him to fire the ball low in off the far post on 8 mins. The visitors
could have doubled their lead 2 mins later after a slip at the back let Gary
Bull in, but his curling shot was well parried by Clive Weatherall. An equaliser
looked on the cards after Ollier Pinner wrestled Callum Donnelly to the floor
and ref Ian Turner pointed to the spot on 19 mins. But after missing a penalty
midweek Paul Garrett again was denied, this time by the feet of Bostons Griemink.
On 32 mins, after little more than pushing and shoving between Mark Bryant and
Ollie Pinner, the Referee decided the only way to deal with the situation was
to issue red cards to both players. The officials were again in the spotlight,
this time for the second goal after loud appeals for offside when Captain Gary
Bull was put through on the left. His low ball across goal being flicked in
by Paul Goodhand on the stroke of half time. The second half was dominated by
Stotfold with Lee Allinsons shot blocked by the keepers knees on 50 mins and
his corner headed down cleared off the line with Mason firing over the rebound
10 mins later. Boston got their 3rd on 67mins after a break down the left from
Neal Spafford, Weatherhall getting a hand to the low shot but only enough to
push it onto the post and in. 2 of the 3 substitutes combined to get the Stotfold
goal on 90 mins, Bobby Dance passing in Louis Lee's cut back ball from the byline.

STOTFOLD 2 NEWPORT PAGNELL 2
After losing two previous games against Newport Pagnell this season,
Stotfold made their intentions clear from the kick off with Callum Donnelly
having a shot cleared off the line and Ian Morison heading a corner just over
the bar in the first 10 mins. The first goal however went to tonights visitors
after Referee Gary Colby awarded a penalty after a shot driven through the box
struck Paul Garretts hand. Martin Kelly stepped up and tucked the spot kick
under Scott Waters on 14 mins. Stotfolds equaliser came on 36 mins after Ian
Morrison headed a corner back across goal for Joel Mason to head in at the post.
As on Saturday Stotfold conceded another goal late in the first half when Pagnell
broke down the left and Kelly fired in his second from just inside the D on
45 mins. Mason forced the first save of the second half when his deflected cross
from the left was punched clear by James Howarth but there was not many keepers
that would have stopped Lee Allinsons equaliser on 53 mins. With the wall lined
up just inside the box Allinson lifted his free kick over the players and into
the very top corner of the goal. Although a majority of the rest of the game
was played in the visitors half Stotfold failed to convert their many chances
and possesion into shots at goal, with Allinson coming closest on 85 mins from
a free kick in a similar position as the goal this time Howarth parrying the
ball wide. Scott Walters, Tommy Hull, Paul Donnelly, Colin Shambrook,

STOTFOLD 5 BOURNE 0
A goal each for Garrett & Mason, with Callum
Donnellys
hat trick completing this comfortable victory. The first goal came 10 mins
into the game after a good run down the right and ball i
nto
the box from Louis Lee, dropped to Paul Garrett who, under no pressure from
any defenders, comfortably headed the ball in. A ball through the middle for
Joel Mason to run onto was unselfishly squared to Callum Donnelly who had time
to take a touch and place his shot past keeper Ben Derbyshire on 23 mins. Good
chances for Tawhid Juneja, with a header off the upright and Callum Donnelly
with a header over the bar came and went before Clive Weatherall was finally
called into action. A long throw into the box was flicked onto Chris Hutchcraft
whose header down from close range was well held by Weatherall on on 42 mins.
Lee Allinson's set up the 3rd goal 2 mins into first half stoppage time with
a ball forward for Callum Donnelly to run onto take a touch and drive the ball
under Derbyshire to the far post. The second half started with Garrett and Mason
both putting shots wide before Mason got the 4th after coliding with Bourne's
keeper in the air and managing to stab the ball goalwards on 58 mins, Captain
Aaron Rideout unable to get to the ball in time to clear off the line. A goaline
clearance from John Currall denied Mason another goal on 70 mins but this was
going to be Donnellys day after Paul Garrett broke down the left and crossed
low, Callum placed the ball back to the far post to complete his hat trick on
90 mins. Unfortunately Stotfold will lose Ian Morrison for at least 4 months
after he broke his ankle landing awkwardly in the first half. Clive

DESBOROUGH 2 STOTFOLD 1
Tommy Hull was unlucky not open the scoring 5 mins into the game when he
flicked the ball towards goal from a corner and it was cleared off the line.
Joel Mason put a unchallenged header over the bar from a free kick on 18 mins
with Jamie O'Neil blasting a chance from the right over the bar for the home
team 7 mins later. Desborough's first came from Jamie Gilsenan on the left squeezing
his shot under Brad Gillham at the near post on 30 mins. Mason put another header
wide of the goal 5 mins later from Allinsons free kick but the ball was flicked
onto him and he didn't have time to react properly, Louis Lee also had a half
chance but his shot, from close range shortly after, had the sting taken out
of it by the defender and keeper Michael Evans collected the ball comfortably. The
last good chance of the half parried by Gillham keeping O'Neils effort out 5
mins before the break. The start of the second half saw Stotfold bombard the
home teams goal with a succession of corners and shots for the first 15 mins
amazing not producing any goals, Allinson having 3 good chances to level the
scoreline each time finding Evans blocking the goal. Desborough doubled their
lead on the break through Michael Byrne on the right with Brad getting not enough
of a hand to his shot to the far post on 63 mins. A couple of chances followed
for Ricky case and Mason but it was sub Wayne Mulloolly that pulled the 1 goal
back knocking the ball past the keeper as he came out of his area to clear a
ball forward but with the seven minutes that remained the equaliser couldn't
be found. Brad

KEMPSTON 0 STOTFOLD 9. Match abandoned on 65 mins.
It took a short while for Stotfold to find the back of the net, hitting
most shots wide of the mark, until Colin Shambrook bundled a spilt corner over
the line on 14 mins the goals rained in. Two for Mason on 19 and 26 with Garrett
shooting low to the far post from the left on 30 before Mason completed his
hat trick on 36 mins. A sweet 25 yard strike from Allinson into the top corner
on 40 mins was shortly followed by Garrett repeating his earlier goal on 42
to make it 7-0 at half time. Louis Lee set up both the second half goals allowing
Callum Donnelly to side foot the ball in on 52 mins and Mason to dribble the
ball round the keeper 3 mins later. On 65 mins the ground was plunged into darkness
and Referee D. Jarrett abandoned the game shortly after putting Stotfold further
behind in their league fixtures. Scott Walters, Ryan Nicholl, Paul Donnelly,

WOOTTON 2 STOTFOLD 4
With Mark Bryant, Callum D
onnelly,
Tommy Hull suspended and Joel Mason away, Paul Garrett and Louis Lee got the
opportunity to start up front in this local derby. But the first goal came from
Luke Donnelly, himself returning from injury on 8 mins. Ricky Case was brought
down on the left hand side and the resulting free kick was floated by Lee Allinson
onto Donnellys head for him to glance the ball down and off the keepers feet
and in. A goaline clearance from Paul Donnelly on 16 mins after a bit of panic
in the box kept the lead safe before Stotfold added a second on 29 mins. A good
break down the left and low powerful strike fromPaul Garrett was parried by
Woottons Piotr Karpuik but only as far as Rick Case running into the middle
of the box to tap the ball over the line. The 2 goal lead was short lived however,
after Wootton pulled 1 back when Krystof Matyszkiewi calmly rounded Brad Gillham
and picked his spot past the 2 defenders on the line on 35
mins.
The home team came very close to equalising at the end of the first half but
Gillham did well to stop Ktrytof Karpuiks shot with his feet as he was put clean
through. Wootton came out with a bit more purpose in the second half but were
knocked back on 57 mins when Ricky Case received a ball from the right in the
box, took a little touch to take it away from his marker, and fired it past
the defenders on the line. This 2 goal advantage was even shorter lived than
first when Wootton were awarded a free kick on the left which was crossed to
the far post then headed back for Tom Francis to head over the line a minute
later. This should have encouraged the home team to push for a share of the
points but it was Stotfold that came closest with Louis Lee's cross glancing
the crossbar and Allinsons shot clipping the corner of the post. Paul Garrett
finally secured the points when Allinson put him through on the left and he
knocked the ball past the last defender and shot low past Karpuik on 80 mins.

STOTFOLD 4 BLACKSTONES 2
Superb Stotfold performance ends Stones' 15 match winning run.
With the wind behind them in the first half Stotfold took the lead
early on when Ricky Case on the left, took a little touch to give himself some
space then fired low to the far post on 8 mins. There was little in the way
of action for both teams until the half hour mark when Stotfold started to create
some chances without troubling keeper Ian Flavell too much. Louis Lee missed
out on a tap in at the far post after Case's cross from the left was flapped
at by Flavell, Case dragged his low shot wide after some good work on the right
from Louis Lee and Paul Garrett. Stotfold had looked much the better team in
the first half but only had 1 goal up on Blackstones, a narrow lead taking into
account the visitors recent form. Louis Lee won a corner after some good battling
on the right with the resulting kick being flicked onto Joel Mason at the far
post who swiftly chested the ball and knocked it over the line on 56 mins to
double the lead. Shortly after Brad Gillham did well to parry wide Phil Stebbings
shot after he worked his way through on the right but Blackstones were gifted
their first goal when Colin Shambrook misjudged Flavells goal kick, heading
the ball onwards past Gillham as he ran back towards goal on 70 mins. This piece
of good fortune breathed life into the visitors and 2 minutes later they had
drawn level when Phil Stebbing stunned Ash Stevens low cross over the line.
Stones' jubilant celebrations were short lived however, after Paul Garrett showed
good strength in the D, by powering forward and releasing Tawhid Juneja to knock
the ball past Flavell on 75 mins. Luke Kennedy thought he had grabbed a point

BEDS SENIOR CUP 1st Rnd STOTFOLD 3 BIGGLESWADE UTD 0
Tonights visitors have had their fair share of victories over Stotfold in
recent times and for the first 15 mins had the better chances twice through
Martin Russell, forcing a spectacular parry from Brad Gillham from a long range
volley, and a good run down the left and a shot at Gillham from close range,
which could have been cut back for other players arriving in the box. The first
goal came on 21 mins after Tommy Hull won a corner on the right and Paul Garretts
kick was headed straight in by Luke Donnelly from the middle of the 6 yard box.
Joel Mason had 2 good strikes comfortably stopped by keeper Adam Lawrence before
the break with Uniteds best chance coming for David Parker on 65 mins, firing
over the bar from close range after Gillham spilled a cross from the right.
Paul Garrett got his 17th goal of the season as he was running forward and a
defender was trying to force him wide around the box, he unleashed a superb
left footed strike that flew over the keepers outstretched palm and dipped under
the bar on 72 mins. Biggleswades only other chance came from sub Daniel Gaskin
who shot over the bar 5 mins later with Joel Mason securing a place in the next
round heading in Paul Garretts corner at the near post on 89mins. Brad

STOTFOLD 4 DESBOROUGH 1
Todays game started in torrential rain with both sides struggling get the ball
under control, The visitors, who had beaten Stotfold 2-1 less than a month ago
at the Waterworks, had the earlier chances with T
om
Mills and Michael Byrne both shooting wide. Joel Mason had a good chance to
open the scoring after he took the ball away from the last defender with his
first touch but shot straight at keeper Michael Evans from close range. The
games turning point came a minute later on 15 mins when Callum Donnelly barged
Danny Pownall after the ball had gone. Donnelly received a yellow card from
Ref Wayne Chalmers for his poorly timed challenge but it was a straight red
for Pownall after he got up and head butted Callum. 2 Mins later and the supporters
that had braved the weather were treated to the other side of Callum Donnelly,
a fantastic strike from outside the box on the right hand side into the far
top corner to open the scoring. The other 2 Donnellys were involved in the second
goal 9 mins later after Luke was fouled on the edge of the box Paul's sweetly
struck free kick was glanced in off Lee Allinsons head. Desborough were
struggling to adjust to being a man down and were put further behind on 37 minutes
after Stotfold broke quickly from a rare attack from the visitors. Jamie Taylor
set Callum Donnelly off on the right who played the ball across for Mason who
was just beaten to the ball by keeper Evans smothering the ball. Somehow the
ball popped out from under his arm as he slid across the box and Mason was alert
and on hand to knock the ball away from him to prevent him from collecting it
and into the net before any defenders could get back to clear. The second half
started with Jamie Taylor missing a great chance sliding in at the far post
and putting Masons low cross wide, with Mason and Callum both put further chances
the wrong side of the woodwork. The 4th goal came after Mark Bryant's strike
was palmed down by Robbie Maddox and, with Garrett missing through suspension,
Allinson increased his seasons goal tally firing in from the spot on 80 mins.
Desboroughs consolation came after a bit of pressure and a ball back into the
middle of the box was taken down by Tom Mills round Brad Gillham and tapped
in on 86 mins. Brad Gillham, Tommy Hull, Paul Donnelly, Colin Shambrook,
Tawhid Juneja, Louis Lee (Dave Drury), Callum Donnelly, Luke Donnelly, Joel
Mason (Richard Griffiths), Lee Allinson, Jamie Taylor (Mark Bryant).
YAXLEY 0 STOTFOLD 5
Saturdays game at leading Leading Drove was 1 of only 5 games to get started
in UCL this weekend giving Stotfold the opportunity to catch up on their
games in hand. Paul Donnelly was almost the first scorer on 15 mins after
his cross from the right deceived keeper John Feetham and bounced off the line
then away to safety. Paul Garrett struck his first opportunity straight at Feetham
on 21 mins with the opening goal coming 4
mins later after Luke Donnellys diving header from a corner was blocked by the
arm of Chris Lenton. Lee Allinson calmly tucked the penalty away after the referee
had pointed to the spot and booked Lenton for his response to the decision.
A couple of mins later and Lenton came very close to getting his head onto Mark
Pauls long ball forward from the right for an equaliser but the second goal
came after a corner from the right was flicked in by Allinsons head then cleared
by a defender from behind the line and then bundled back over by Mason to make
sure on 34 mins. Again the home team had another good opportunity to pull one
back after the goal but Lee Blewett put a ball in from the left wide of the
mark. Callum Donnelly buried a loose ball from a corner in the back of the net
on 37 mins only to have it dissallowed for Mason being offside. Donnelly only
had to wait another 3 mins to get his goal after Garrett broke through the middle
and set Mason off on the left. His low cross for Callum on the edge of the box
was hit first time at the keeper but the rebound flew straight back to Callums
feet who confidently lifted the ball over the grounded keeper. A double substitution
at halftime almost had an instant effect for the home team when Jimmy Dean headed
onto the bar on 48 mins, and only a brave sliding block from Brad Gillham denied
the prolific Mark Paul a goal after he was put through the middle on 68 mins.
Callum Donnelly's cross from near the right hand corner flag set up the 4th
goal on 70 mins after the ball sailed over Mason in the box Garrett was at the
far post to head in. Allinson and Garrett both tried chiping the keeper from
distance when he strayed off his line, with Allinsons effort coming closest
when it bounced off the crossbar. The final goal came 5 mins from the end as
Yaxley were pushing forward, Mason took advantage on the left hand side and
unselfishly squared the ball for Callum Donnelly running into the box who again
had a little 1-2 with the keeper before putting the ball in the back of the
net. Brad Gillham, Mark Bryant, Paul Donnelly, Colin Shambrook (Sam Gittings),
Tawhid Juneja, Louis Lee (Ricky Case), Callum Donnelly, Luke Donnelly, Joel
Mason (Richard Griffiths), Lee Allinson, Paul Garrett.
COGENHOE 1 STOTFOLD 3
On another day the home team could
easily have been 3 goals up within the first 20 mins. Rob Foster had 4 clean
sights of goal with Brad Gillham stopping the first from the right, parrying
wide the next two attempts and then chipping the 4th over the bar. Stotfold
didn't trouble Cogenhoe keeper Ricky Hughes until he had stop 2 Joel Mason efforts,
the first pushing wide a low shot on the turn from Callum Donnellys reverse
pass on 25 mins and the second holding onto his point blank header 6 mins later.
As the first half progress
ed
better chances came Stotfolds way with Lee Allinson heading a corner inches
wide at the near post and Luke Donnelly having his shot saved. The opening goal
came three minutes before the break when Allinson dropped a corner into the
crowded 6yd box for Tawhid Juneja to muscle the ball over the line. Cogenhoe
equalised 4 mins into the second half after several failed attempts to effectively
clear the ball were punished by Neil Champlovier passing a parried shot from
the left into the back of the net. The Cooks celebrations were however short
lived after Stotfold restored the lead on 53 mins with one of their best goals
of the season so far. Louis Lee pushed through the middle and played the ball
to the left for Mason, his first touch taking the ball past the defender to
the byline, where he cut the ball back for Paul Garrett to hit first time curling
it round Ricky Hughes. For the next 25 mins Stotfold were much the better side
with Garrett adding his second on 70 mins with a superb curler from the edge
of the box going in off the underside of the bar. A vital block from Cogenhoe's
Adam Knight kept Louis Lees name off the scoresheet on 75 mins with Brad Gillham
holding onto Champloviers strike late in the half to make safe all 3 points.

STOTFOLD
6 S&L CORBY 0.
With Luke Donnelly and Lee Allinson both missing through suspension and the
visitors having a better season than normal, 3 points was never guaranteed.
The first
30 mins consisted of a
few half chances for both sides with Stotfolds Joel Mason and Paul Garrett both
having shots well held by Corby's Richard Lavin and the visitors missing the
target. The opener came after a Paul Garrett free kick wide on the left was
headed as far as Callum Donnelly, on the edge of the box, whose sweetly hit
volley flew into the back of the net on 30 mins. The rest of the action and
goals came in the second half with S & L's Lee Garvie attempting to loft
the ball over Brad while he was off his line and Tawhid Juneja getting a vital
block on Bobby Drains shot. Joel Mason had a good shot on the turn blocked wide
just before the second goal on 60 mins when Ricky Case's well weighted diagonal
pass set Callum Donnelly free on the right to fire in his second, low to the
far post. A corner won and taken by Garrett was headed back across and into
the middle of the box by Juneja for Louis Lee to volley in his 2nd goal of this
campaign on 63 mins. His first was also against Corby at the start of the season.
A rare long ball forward was well chested down by Case taking him into the penalty
area where he was clumsily challenged from behind by Paul Djeverelovic. Referee
D. Jarrett pointed to the spot and Callum Donnelly fired the ball into the roof
of the net to complete second hat trick of the season on 69 mins. Joel Mason
should have made it four on 72 mins after Lavin could only parry Garretts shot
but Mason put the rebound over the bar. S & L's Paul Djeverelovic's afternoon
was took a turn for the worse on 78 mins when his outstretched boot looped Ricky
Case's shot past his own keeper. Good defending Tommy Hull and Louis Lee cleared
any danger of Corby sub Derek Simmons getting on the scoresheet with the last
word coming from 2 of Stotfolds subs, newly signed Aaron Fehmi providing a rapid
ball across the face of goal for Sam Gittings to side foot in on 83 mins.

LANGFORD 1 STOTFOLD
3
Stotfold progress to next round after 2 early goals stun Langford. A weighted
chip into the box from Lee Allinson was well controlled by Ricky Case as he
held off the last defender then twisted away and struck the ball past Steve
Young on 4 mins. A fierce Paul Garrett shot from the left could only be parried
wide by Steve Young, nar
rowly
missing Allinson running into the box. But the ball was quickly put back in
the area to Allinsons feet who turned and stabbed the ball low under Youngs
right hand side on 14 mins. Langford started to come into the tie later into
the half with a couple of Rob Groves' efforts going wide but most attacks for
the home side were quickly halted for offside. A vital block from Mark Bryant
prevented Rob Groves' shot from the edge of the box getting through early in
the second half with Young shortly after holding onto Joel Mason's low strike.
But the next goal came on 58mins from a good Mason run through the middle and
pass wide out to the right. Louis Lee superbly blasted the ball low to the far
post getting his name on the scoresheet again after Saturdays rare goal. A free
kick on 64 mins was knocked down for Wes Byrne but he could only poke the ball
wide, with Lee Pateman's curling shot also wide 4 mins later. The home teams
goal came after a ball into the area was met by Brad Gillham and Gary Walker
coliding in the 6yd box with Walker kicking the ball in whilst lying on the
ground 5 mins from the end. Brad Gillham, Mark Bryant, Paul Donnelly, Tommy

DEEPING 1 STOTFOLD 1
The top two played out a scrappy stalemate at Outgang Road, an outcome of more
benefit to the Eagles who have four games in hand over the reigning champions.Lee
Ellison and Richard Thompson failed to hit the target for Deeping early on while
Lee Allinson volleyed narrowly wide for Stotfold.Visiting keeper Brad Gillham
distinguished himself with two fine saves, first turning away Tawhid Juneja's
misplaced clearance from a John-Paul Duncliffe free kick and then spreading
himself well to thwart David Cobb after the winger cut inside.Deeping made the
breakthrough after 34 minutes when Ellison played the ball in behind the visiting
defence for Cobb to run clear and cut inside before slotting home. On resumption
Cobb threatened to increase the home advantage with a solo run, but Paul Donnelly's
vital block kept Stotfold in the game. The visitors improved as the game progressed
and Allinson's volley from a Louis Lee knock down was narrowly too high. A fingertip
save from Gillham kept out a Michael Stevenson free kick curled around the defensive
wall, and the Eagles levelled after 74 minutes. Joel Mason raced past his marker
on the right and his cross picked out Paul Garrett who squeezed a shot just
inside Danny Bircham's right hand post. Three minutes later Mason had the chance
to win the contest for the Eagles after collecting a Garrett pass, but Bircham
blocked his first effort and the striker fired over from the rebound. Brad

POTTON 0 STOTFOLD 3. Three second half goals return Stotfold to the top of the
top of the table.
As in previous years this seasonal fixture was a bit of a non event, with few
chances for both sides in the first half. Marlon Jones almost got an early opening
goal on 8 mins when put through but a good parry wide from Gillham and clearance
from Mark Bryant saw off the danger. Stotfold didn't start to create any chances
until the half hour mark when a couple of Louis Lee crosses from the right were
put over the bar by Mark Bryant and fired at keeper Joe Purcell by Paul Garrett.
The opening goal came 4 mins into the second half after Ricky Case forced Purcell
into pushing his shot from the left wide Case headed down the resulting corner
and after a slight deflection it fell into the back of the net. The second came
much later in the half with Stotfold breaking from a Potton corner. Juneja's
clearance was worked down the left for Garrett to cross into Lee Allinson who's
touch then low shot to the keepers right extended the lead on 82 mins. The all
important 3rd goal that puts us at the top of the league on goals scored, came
2 mins from the end when Juneja put Garrett through on the right to strike low
past Joe Purcell.

WELLINGBOROUGH
TOWN 2 STOTFOLD 1
Another poor performance results in Rokermen being bumped off the top of
the table.
The first half saw few opportunities for both sides with Brad Gillham pushing
David Glass's shot from outside the box wide on 20 mins with Stotfolds best
chance 4 mins later when Louis lee headed a freekick from the left onto Joel
Mason who's touch and shot forced a good save from Alex Malone. At the end of
the half Jed Ainge put Jon Mitchells cut back ball from the left wide and after
a touch off the defenders back, Joel Mason shot low and wide. Apart from a Paul
Garrett strike wide at the start of the second half the home team created the
better openings with Jon Mitchell denied twice by Gillham before sliding in
to meet a cross from the right and open the scoring on 56 mins. This did spark
a bit of life into Stotfold with Louis Lee pushing his way through the defence
a couple of times, His pass to Allinson put over the bar and his own shot from
the right curling wide of the far post. The Wellingborough keeper almost put
the ball over the line himself after Allinsons free kick from the left was fired
at the near post on 69 mins but on 76 mins the home side got their second with
a ball through the middle for Mitchell to run onto, his low shot sending Brad
the wrong way. A few mins later in the other goal Malong looked confident letting
Allisons free kick go wide as it hit the bottom of the upright but was later
caught out as substitute Arin Fehmi curled a free kick from the edge of the
D, round the wall and into the bottom corner on 87 mins. Stotfold only chance
to salvage a point came in stoppage time when Ricky Case's shot through a crowded
box was deflected towards Mason but Malong got down well to see off the danger.

BOSTON 2 STOTFOLD 2
Saturdays top of the table clash finishes in a share of the points after
Allinsons stoppage time equaliser.
Stotfold started the match the brighter of the two sides with Joel Mason forcing
a strong parry wide from Bark Gremink after Ricky Case put him clean through
on 5 mins. Case, 10 mins later put in
a cross from wide on the right which was met in the box by Paul Garrett whose
1st time volley went wide. Gary Bull headed down a cross from the right down
into the arms of Brad Gillham on 20 mins before a poor goal kick from Gremink
was very nearly punished after Garrrett won the ball from the last defender
but Mason could only stab the ball wide. Just as the home team started to come
into the game with Liam Ogden forcing Gillham to parry wide a shot from the
right, Stotfold took the lead on 39 mins. Louis Lee headed the ball forward
on the left for Joel Mason to run onto, and as Gremink advanced Mason deftly
lifted the ball over him into the back of the net. Colin Shambrook got back
to keep Gary Bulls shot past Gillham out as the home team applied more pressure
and Stotfold conceded too many free kicks around the area. The equaliser came
on the stroke of half time when Paul Goodhands free kick inside the D was floated
over the wall with Brad getting a hand to it but unable to keep it out. Stotfold
had 2 great chances at the start of the second half to restore their lead with
Mason, Garrett, Case, passing the ball round the box only for Allinson to blast
over from the right, and Garrett heading Louis Lee's cross from the right back
down for Mason to fire over. A great block from Juneja kept Gary Bulls powerful
strike at bay on 70 mins but a cross from wide on the right 3 mins later was
bundled over the line at the far post by Gary Bull. Just as the home team had
dominated the end of the first 45, Stotfold did the same in the second half.
Shots went wide from Luke Donnelly, Joel Mason and Lee Allinson with the battling
until the final whistle paying off deep into stoppage time. A corner, which
even saw Brad Gillham make an apperance in the oppositions box, was headed back
out to Paul Garrett who fired the ball back into the box onto the head of Lee
Allinson with his back to goal, and with the slightest of touches looped the
ball over Gremink and into the far corner. Brad Gillham, Mark Bryant, Paul

1. It's raining goals at Roker Park!
New signing Dan Douglas got the scoring going nice and early, volleying Ricky
Case's cross from the right into the roof of the net after 5 mins. Luke Donnelly
added a second four minutes later with a low scuffe
d
shot from just inside the box on the right. Douglas' flicked header set up Ricky
Case who stabbed the ball in after his first shot was blocked by keeper Dan
Rogers on 14 mins with Case returning the assist 3 mins later by supplying the
cross from the right for Douglas to comfortably head in his second. Luke Donnelly
popped up and headed in his second from a corner to make it 5-0 on 25 mins.
Paul Garrett got back for a timely tackle to deny Ben Bains a shot a few minutes
later with Mo Banda forcing a good push over the bar from Gillham after he was
put through on the left. Banda did get himself on the scoresheet however, putting
the resulting corner away from close range after it was flicked onto him through
the crowded box. The second half started as the first with a couple of early
goals, Joel Mason putting Lee Allinson through on the right to chip the keeper
for what should have been the 6th, but Jack Sibbons got back to clear off the
line only as far as Ricky Case running into the box who side footed in his second
on 47 mins. The last goal of this wet afternoon came 6 mins later, Luke Donnelly
headed down Garretts corner onto the feet of Lee Allinson for him to flick over
the line sealing this comfortable win. Brad Gillham, Mark Bryant, Paul Donnelly,

AFC KEMPSTON 0 STOTFOLD 8
The replay of November's abandoned midweek match, again finished with a bundle
of goals.
Paul Garrett blasted in the first goal on four minutes after Ricky Case's
cross from the right flew over Joel Mason in the middle and was met on the left
hand side by Garrett running into the box. Ricky Case and Lee Allinson both
had good chances stopped by Chris Williscroft (Yes.... son of Physio Ian Williscroft)
in the Kempston goal before Tawhid Juneja picked out Case running into the box
from the right, who placed his shot under the keeper for
the
second on 24 mins. Ian Aspins clumsy challenge on Paul Donnelly as he run towards
the box was punished by a free kick in the D, which Lee Allinson expertly curled
round the wall and into the back of the net on 27mins. After miss hitting a
great 1 on 1 opportunity a few minutes earlier Dan Douglas made up for it by
getting the last goal of the half on 42 mins. Ricky Case hooked the ball back
into the box from the byline, and with Garrett and Allinson both jumping for
it in the middle, it fell to Douglas to head in from close range at the post.
The first 20 mins of the second half saw Allinson scuff a shot wide, Case's
blasted volley deflected wide and Brad Gillham stop Keith Brady's shot from
distance. Paul Garrett knocked in his his second on 67 mins after Douglas headed
down Allinsons cross from the right at the far post, and Juneja was unlucky
not to get on the scoresheet shortly after when his header down was cleared
off the line by Neil Chance. After coming on a few mins earlier Callum Donnelly
made it 6-0 on 75 mins, squeezing his low shot in after being put through on
the right. Dan Douglas calmly side footed in the 7th after Allinson was put
through by Callum Donnelly and his shot at the keeper fell for Douglas at the
far post. Joel Mason finally got himself a goal after having a good strike a
few mins ealier pushed wide, he headed in Callum Donnellys corner on 83 mins
to make todays scoreline just one less than the 60 minutes played in November.

Stotfold book a Semi final place after dominant performance from start to finish
kept local rivals Langford at bay.
Calum Donnelly almost got the opening goal with his outstretched boot putting
Joel Masons cross from the left, just wide on 7mins. A free kick on the right
was droppped into the box by Paul Garrett on 14mins, for Luke Donnelly to bundle
the ball over the line at the near post, coliding with the upright in the process.
A strong finish towards the end of the half effectively sealed the win. After
Luke Donnelly had headed Masons ball in from the right onto the upright, some
great close control from Louis Lee dribbling the ball through the box enabled
him to pick out Lee Allinson for him pass the ball in from close range on 44
mins. Lee's second came 2 mins later in stoppage time after Masons smartly headed
the ball forward picked him out unmarked in the middle where he had time to
pick his spot and volley in. Juneja was the only player awake at the start of
the second half for a free kick from the right which he put across the face
of goal but no one reacted to. A great cross from Louis Lee found Mason in the
box but his header was straight at Steve Young and a good touch forward from
Mason to Callum Donnelly in space on the right should have finished in a goal
but Donnelly put his low shot into the side netting. A break down the right
for the visitors and cross from Dave Brown almost found Mark Wright as he ran
into the box on 66 mins while shortly after Callum Donnelly nicked the ball
from Steve Young on edge of the area, and after the ball rolled to the byline,
again stuck the ball into side netting. Allinson grabbed his third, taking his
goals total this season to 24, with Callum providing the ball into the box from
the right for him to turn and fire in low past Young on 71 mins. Brad Gillham,

Louis Lee had the first good chance of the afternoon with his glancing header,
from Lee Allinsons free kick on the left, just going wide of the bottom of the
far post
and Rob Foster should have done better for the visitors shortly after putting
his free kick from the corner of the box wide. Paul Donnellys superb cross from
the left was well headed, but put wide by Callum Donnelly on the right of the
box on 10 mins, with Joel Mason also striking over and Luke Donnellys ball driven
across the face of goal cleared by Adam Knight before it could be turned in.
What turned out to be the winning goal came on 26 mins, Paul Donnellys first
goal of the season and one to remember came from a short corner that was put
into the box by Paul Garrett but only cleared as far as Donnelly. From 25 yds
out in the middle of the pitch the sweetest of strikes rocketed through the
box and into the back of the net leaving keeper Darren Watts stunned. Mason
came closest to doubling the lead at the end of the half from Allinsons header
forward, quickly turning goalwards and shooting across the face of goal in one
swift movement. The start of the second half saw a couple of Paul Garrett free
kicks from good positions the first comfortably collected by Watts and the second
going over the bar. Cogenhoe seemed to push more players forward in the second
half but lacked any real conviction, a deflected cross from Dan Thomason and
Ben Holley's low shot wide from distance the only worthy opportunities. Lee
Allinsons shot from a Cogenhoe clearance was almost deflected into the top corner
and with a few minutes to go Allinsons free kick from the touchline was touched
into the goalkeepers chest at the near post. This solid allround performance
may not have the glamorous sounding scoreline we have had recently but 3 points
against a team like Cogenhoe are always well earned. Brad Gillham, Mark Bryant,

NORTH BEDS CHARITY CUP WOOTTON 1 STOTFOLD 3
This result is can largely be put down to Goalkeeper Brad Gillham, a handful
of fine saves throughout the game from the man who has been a onlooker in recent
games, reminded us what a top goalkeeper we have. Krysztof Matieskiewicz forced
a good close range stop from Gillham 8 mins in after being put through on the
right with Wayne Mulloolly missing a good chance to turn the ball in at the
near post from a corner shortly after. The home team scored first on 16 mins
after Adam Marsh's free kick from the right bounced in the box, and when it
looked as if no one was going to clear it, Nick Love placed his shot in under
Gillham. Dan Douglas had his touch forward cleared off the line from a corner
and Stuart Richardson thought he could catch Gillham out taking his free kick
on the edge of the D early but the ball was comfortably collected. Another good
stop with his feet on the half hour kept Craig Daniels shot away after he had
a clear sight of goal and after parrying a shot from Matieskiewicz shortly after
Colin Shambrook got back on the line to stop Nick Love scoring from the rebound.
Wootton kept the pressure on into the second half, Love again beating the back
line on the right with Brad this time parrying his low shot then quickly collecting
the ball before Ben Baines could follow in. A handball from a corner by Matieskiewicz
gave Stotfold a route back into the game, with Arin Fehmi tucking in from the
spot on 58 mins. Less than 2 mins later and Stotfold had taken the lead after
Mulloolly picked out Callum Donnellys run on the right and picked him out his
superb shot from outside the box flew over Dan Rogers and dipped in at the far
post. a second yellow card for Matieskiewicz on 63 mins for another challenge
on Tommy Hull made it even harder for the home team to get back into the game
with Callum heading onto the bar on 76 mins and Douglas unable to turn a loose
ball in the third came direct from Paul Garretts corner on 85 mins, the ball

STOTFOLD 6 WELLINGBOROUGH TOWN 0
In the first 20 mins of this game the result, let alone scoreline, didn't
look possible with the visitors having the better possession and chances with
John Mitchell blazing a good chance in fron
t
of goal over the bar on 10 mins and Dan Grainger puting his low shot from the
right wide shortly after. But after weathering the opening storm Stotfold struck
first on 27 mins, Joel Mason making himself some room inside the 6 yd box and
stooping to head in Paul Garretts corner at the near post. Mason played a big
part in the second goal after he was put through on the left hand side of the
box, his shot was blocked by Luke Dowling with Garrett picking up the rebound
and curling it past keeper Alex Malong on 36 mins. Malong may have wished he
stayed at home for the third goal on 46 mins after coming off his line for Lee
Allinsons free kick from the halfway line Tawhid Juneja rose just inside the
box and looped his header over the keeper and into the net to silence the visiting
supporters. Wellingborough did push forward in the second half but looked no
where near as threatening in the second half, sub Alfie Taylors pass to Brad
Gillham from a corner the only half chance. Louis Lee should have got himself
on the scoresheet after controling and taking Masons cross from the right into
the box, but his good footwork only resulted in a dragged shot wide. A foul
on Louis on 65 mins about 25 yds from goal allowed Lee Allinson to fire in the
fourth, a superb curling kick into the top corner. The 5th goal was a solo effort
for sub Ricky Case, a winding run from the right to the left hand side of the
box then a shot back across goal into the top of the net. A clumsy challenge
from Dan Grainger on Arin Fehmi in the last minute of the game allowed Allinson
to grab his second tucking the ball in from the spot. Brad Gillham, Mark
Bryant, Paul Donnelly, Colin Shambrook, Tawhid Juneja, Louis Lee (Tommy Hull),
Callum Donnelly (Ricky Case), Luke Donnelly, Joel Mason (Arin Fehmi), Lee Allinson,
Paul Garrett.
BOURNE 0 STOTFOLD 2
An early goal could have killed this game off and Paul Garrett was given a good
chance 6 mins in, when put through on the left his shot was pushed up onto the
crossbar by keeper Arran Bellairs. Joel Mason
tried
a chip from the edge of the box but put the ball wide with Luke Donnellys shot
from the edge of the box being comfortably stopped by Bellairs. The home teams
chances were limited to a couple of shots with John Curralls strike well held
by Brad Gillham on 18 mins. 2 good chances near the end of the first half could
have opened the scoring, Luke Donnellys flicked on header from a corner just
skipped away from Tawhid Juneja at the far post on 38 mins and Mason with his
back to goal had his shot on the turn blocked by Billy Sparks 2 mins later.
Ricky Case came on at the end of the first half after Paul Bryant twisted his
ankle pushing Luke Donnelly into defence for the rest of the match. A good 1-2
between Garrett and Louis Lee on the left at the start of the second half was
delivered into the box but Ricky Case was just beaten to the ball by some good
defending, Callum Donnelly also missed a good opportunity when Allinson sent
him on his way down the right but his shot flew over the bar. Paul Garrett broke
the deadlock after Joel Masons work down the right and ball into the box picked
him out to stab the ball in past Arran Bellairs on 65 mins. Ricky Case should
have effectively finished the game of 2 mins later when his good run into the
box resulted in a poor shot wide, this missed chance was almost punished when
Alex Robinson beat the back line but fired shooting wide of the target shortly
after. Masons heavy touch from Garretts pass took the ball too close to the
home keeper on 81 mins before Ricky Case sealed all 3 points on 89 mins his
shot from Dan Douglas's cross from the left taking a slight deflection off Jason
Gough. Brad Gillham, Mark Bryant (Ricky Case), Paul Donnelly, Tommy
Hull, Tawhid Juneja, Louis Lee, Callum Donnelly (Arin Fehmi), Luke Donnelly,
Joel Mason (Dan Douglas), Lee Allinson, Paul Garrett. subs not used Wayne Mulloolly.

Second half penalty 10 mins from time secures all 3 points in this closely fought
match.
The
first half was fired into action from the first minute when Paul Garrett won
the ball closing down a clearance and passed to Joel Mason unmarked just inside
the box, who after taking a touch shot straight at keeper James Jackson. A fierce
shot from the right 8 mins later from Graham Thackery, curled away from the
target and off the outside of the upright. Lee Allinsons ball forward set up
Mason in the middle on 12 mins but his touch and low shot was again straight
at the keeper. A clash followed by retaliation between Callum Donnelly and Dan
Newman on the halfway line saw both sides reduced to 10 men. Referee Steve Beswick
consulting with his linesman before issuing 2 straight red cards a quarter of
an hour into the game. A good 15 minute spell from the home side followed with
Tawhid Juneja and Tommy Hull both blocking shots in a goalmouth scramble, a
good low stop from Brad Gillham to keep Dan Pilsworths stabbed shot from a freekick
out and Jamie Blackwells header deflected onto the upright. Allinson put Garrett
through on 35 mins only for him to shoot at the keeper with Allinson shortly
after chesting Paul Donnellys cross down for Luke Donnelly to fire wide. Mason
finished the half as he started, this time after working some space for a shot
on the left he again found James Jackson blocking his shots path to the back
of the net. The start of the second half saw a poor clearing header give Jamie
Blackwell a shot at goal but his low shot was well held by Gillham. Some build
up on the right teed up a shot for Scott Fielding to shoot wide and Gillhams
feet denied Graham Thackerys shot from the right with Juneja blocking his overhead
kick as he tried to follow it up. Tommy Hulls ball in was well chested down
but volleyed over by Allinson on 63 mins and Brad Gillham saved any embarassment
by punching clear Will Fordhams spilt shot before it could followed in. The
deadlock was broken on 80 mins when Dan Pilsworths tackle halted Louis Lees
run towards goal, Lee Allinson converting the penalty to join Paul Garrett on
19 league goals this season. The home teams final push only resulted in Scott
Fieldings close range effort being blocked by Gillham secuing maximum points.

STOTFOLD 1 POTTON 0
This 4th and final meeting between the 2 clubs was the closest of this season
but again it finished in a Stotfold victory.
After chasing a ball forward Joel Mason won the ball from keeper To
m
Kennard as he came to clear the ball outside his area but had his shot into
an empty net blocked by Daniel O'Farrell on 10 mins. 2 mins later and a short
free kick driven across the box by Lee Allinson was controlled and struck well
by Mason but a good parry from Kennard forced the ball into the path of Allinson
who volleyed into the side netting. Allinson made up for the miss shortly after,
Masons well weighted ball through the middle allowing him to place the ball
past the keeper on 14 mins. The visitors responded well with Shiblu Miah forcing
a good low save from Brad Gillham and after Miah put a good cross in Craig Lanham
draged his shot wide. Paul Garrett should have doubled the lead on the half
hour after Masons cross from the right to the far post was side footed over
the bar from close range. Two great saves from Gillham kept out Miah's strike
on 36 mins and Lanham's free kick from inside the D after it was curled round
the wall. An equally good stop at the other end by the keepers feet denied Garretts
shot when he was put through just before half time. Although the second half
was dominated by the home team, with Mason shooting at the keeper from the right,
Callum Donnelly forcing a good parry wide with his shot through the box on 60
mins and Garretts curling free kick pushed wide, the lead couldn't be extended
for a comfortable finish to the game. Brad Gillham, Andy Reed, Paul Donnelly,

HOLBEACH 0 STOTFOLD 4
The 10th successive League victory and the 100th league goal mark is passed
at Carters Park.
Paul Garrett could
have had the first goal 2 mins in when Lee Allinsons free kick dropped at his
feet, but a poor connection wit
h
the ball made it a comfortable low save for Nick Conroy. The home keeper was
almost made to pay for a poor clearance shortly after but Luke Donnelly lifted
his strike high over the bar. Luke missed a better opportunity on 12 mins flicking
Allinsons low ball into the box over the bar from 6 yds out. A low shot wide
from Matthew Warfield on 20 mins was quickly followed by a good cross from Joel
Mason on the byline that Nick Conroy palmed away from Luke Donnellys head. The
opening goal came on 24 mins after Masons shot was deflected over for a corner
Garretts kick was flicked in off
the head of Allinson at
the near post. The home team barely had time to reorganise when a minute later
Masons ball through the middle put Louis Lee in to stab the ball under the keeper.
Two chances near the end of the half could have brought Holbeach back into the
game with Antonio Pascu, putting a free kick on the edge of the box well over
the bar after Junejas foul, and a misjudged ball over the top put wide by Tommy
Treacher when he had the goal in his sights. The Tigers half time team talk
must have gone straight out of the window when Ricky Case was brought down twice
in the box, the first challenge looking the more offensive, but referee Tony
Sharrock blew up for
the second and
pointed to the spot allowing Allinson to fire in the 3rd goal a minute into
the second half. The pressure continued througout the second half with Brad
Gillham having very little to do, with Ricky Case unlucky not to have a goal
when his shot came off the upright and along the goaline. The fourth goal came
after a succession of corners Luke Donnellys header at the near post was blocked
on the line, the ball then ricocheted off Donnelly and into the net
on 67 mins.
Louis Lee tried his luck with a low strike that was well held by the keeper
on 88 mins with the last kick of the game coming from Omar Joof with a delayed
challenge on Luke Donnelly bringing his second yellow card after an equally
poor tackle on Paul Donnelly in the first half.

In the first couple of minutes the woodwork denied Joel Mason an opening goal
after Garretts cross was cleared to him, with his low strike coming off the
bottom of the upright and then keeper Rob Mackay palming away the following
ball in. A big clearance from Mackay shortly after put Jamie Blackwell in behind
the backline but the visiting forward volleyed wide. After a good spell of pressure
from the visitors, with the only real threat coming from Scott Fieldings deflected
shot that dipped onto the crossbar, Stotfold took the lead after Lee Allinsons
free kick on the left missed its intended target and was knocked forward in
the middle of the box for Luke Donnelly to slot the ball past the keeper on
34 mins. The first half finished with Barry Albone stooped to put a header wide
of the near post from a free kick just in from the corner flag and Mason shooting
over from close range after working and opening on the left. 3 good chances
at the start of the second half should have extended the lead for Stotfold with
Juneja shooting over at the far post after Mackay palmed a corner to him, followed
by a great point blank save stopping Garrett turning in Masons cross from the
left and Luke Donnelly striking over after Ricky Case teed the ball up for him.
These misses were punished on 57 mins when a good ball in from the right was
headed in at the far post by Jamie Blackwell running into the box. A Garrett
strike from distance was well held on 66 mins with the winner coming on 74 mins,
Blackwell again at the far post to side foot in a low ball across from the left.
Despite the 2 substitutions the best chance for an equaliser came on 90 mins
with a ball headed down to Allinson on the left his weak low shot was comfortably
held by from the St. Ives keeper.

BLACKSTONES 0 STOTFOLD 3
An exemplary all round performance bags all 3 points and sets up what could
be the most exciting week in the clubs history. With the wind behind them
in the first half Stotfold could easily have taken the lead in the first few
minutes when Joel Masons header was cleared off the line by captain Ross Watson.
Trevor Smiths blocked clearance from inside the box fell kindly to Mason who,
despite his personal goal drought, squared the the ball for an unmarked Paul
Garrett on the left for him to fire the ball past Ian Flavell on 8 mins. 2 mins
later Dan Cotton beat the offside appeals on the right but his shot was straight
at Brad Gillham. The second goal came on 27 mins after Paul Garretts corner
was headed down by the unmarked Luke Donnelly. A minute later and the home team
could have pulled one back from a free kick on the edge of box, Cotton first
hitting the wall then sticking the rebound well wide. At the other end a good
ball into the box from Louis Lee on the left was headed into the ground at the
far post by Ricky Case, Flavell doing well to stretch and palm the ball over.
Second half saw the home team have more possesion but failing to create any
significant chances with Liam Harrold scuffing a low shot wide and Andy Boome
heading over from a corner. Any chance of a comeback was snuffed out with the
3rd goal when Allinson broke down the right slipped the ball past the defender
and crossed to Garrett, who was again not picked up and, stuck his shot under
the Stones' keeper. This goal deflated the home side and Stotfold should have
got another goal with Juneja's header from a free kick flicked over and Allinsons
shot from distance and resulting corner cleared off the line. On Tuesday the
first team are at home to Northampton Spencer with the FA's hearing into the
St Ives match on Wednesday and then they are at home to Long Buckby on Saturday.

STOTFOLD 3 NORTHAMPTON SPENCER 2
Good pressure from the start brought about the first goal for Stotfold after
a succession of corners and free kicks, Joel Masons shot was handled on 5 mins
and Lee Allinson stepped up to fire in the penalty. A deflected ball across
from the right fell to Ashley Bradshaw to put him clean through on goal, but
Brad Gillham got down well to palm the ball away from his feet. A clumsy challenge
on Bradshaw in the box put the visitors back on level terms when Kevin Slinn
fired in from the spot on 15 mins. The lead however was restored 9 mins later
when a ball driven across the face of goal by Mason was belted into the back
of the net by Tawhid Juneja, with Ricky Case almost adding the third 10 mins
later when his shot from close range was blocked on the line. Case set up the
3 Stotfold goal with a ball across from the right hand side of the box to the
left for Mason to hit a curling shot first time into the far top corner of the
net 2 mins into the second half. This 2 goal cushion was short lived when 4
mins later Ashley Bradshaw was put through on the left and cut the ball back
for Steve Jelly to fire in the deflection and Brad's hand not enough to steer
the ball wide. Bradshaws looping header was well palmed to safety by Gillham
on 55 mins with the number 11 again causing problems heading a ball back across
the face of goal shortly after. A strong finish from the home team should have
brounght about another goal with Garrett and Allinson both having free kicks
pushed wide by keeper Craig Neighbour and Mason and Allinson heading corners
fractionally wide. Brad Gillham, Tommy Hull, Paul Donnelly, Colin Shambrook,
