Stotfold F.C.
Football Lottery Club Terms & Condtitions

1. The club shall be called the "Stotfold F.C. Lottery" and shall be run for the purposes of conducting a private lottery in accordance with section 4 of the "Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976". These rules will be known as the "Stotfold F.C. Lottery Rules".

2. The "Stotfold F.C. Lottery" is established for the purposes of raising funds in equal shares for the objectives of Stotfold Football Club & Stotfold Junior Football Club (jointly hereinafter called The Club).

3. The promoter is
STOTFOLD FOOTBALL CLUB - c/o 12 Common Road, Stotfold, Hitchin, Herts.

4. Participation in the "Stotfold F.C. Lottery" will be by the purchase of a chance or chances in the manner specified in rule 5a to 5e.

a. Each applicant for annual membership of the "Stotfold F.C. Lottery" shall join the "Stotfold F.C. Lottery" by completing an application form for participation in the "Stotfold F.C. Lottery" and authorise their bank to pay £10.00 per 4 weeks period (Lunar Monthly) by standing order. These payments will be made throughout the period of membership.
b. On receipt of confirmation that the payment has been set up and receipt of a correctly completed application form, the club promoters shall allocate the applicant a number unique to that applicant for the duration of the "Stotfold F.C. Lottery". The promoter will place the members number in the list of numbers to be drawn in the next full calendar week after receipt of the first payment from the applicant. Upon receipt of that payment, the applicant shall become a member of the "Stotfold F.C. Lottery".
c. The member shall continue to participate in each draw and shall cease to participate in the calendar week following receipt of that member's last standing order payment.
d. Any applicant joining the "Stotfold F.C. Lottery" after the inception of the draw in any year, that wishes to be included in the 6 months and 12 months draw, will be liable to pay all arrears of membership money for that year in the first standing order payment from their bank. Otherwise, they will only be included in the weekly and monthly draws from the calendar week and calendar month after receipt of their first payment.
e. The "Stotfold F.C. Lottery" will be audited at least twice per annum by a minimum of two representatives from the general committee of Stotfold Football Club and Stotfold Junior Football Club. One shall be the treasurer of each club and the other a member selected by the committee. The auditors shall submit a jointly written report to each club's committee on the running of the "Stotfold F.C. Lottery".

6. A draw will be made at the club in each calendar week and month. In addition a special draw will be made at the end of each year. Not less than three committee members will witness all draws. The winning numbers being randomly selected.

7. The number of members shall determine the value of prizes. The prize schedule for each year shall be published prior to commencement and will form a part of these terms and conditions.

8. Details of the "Stotfold F.C. Lottery" prize amounts and winners names may be published by
a) Issues of a card to all registered members.
b) Display of a notice on the clubs websites.
c) Information displayed on clubs literature.

9. Any card issued to a member of the "Stotfold F.C. Lottery" shall state the following details.
a) The promoters' names and addresses.
b) Prizes may only be paid to "Stotfold F.C. Lottery" members holding drawn winning numbers.
c) All prizes other the car will be paid electronically by BACS and will be paid into members bank accounts within 10 days of the draw taking place and the payment will only be made payable to the winning member.

10. Any cards issued to "Stotfold F.C. Lottery" members by the promoter will either be delivered by hand or sent by recorded delivery.

11. Upon termination of the "Stotfold F.C. Lottery" either under "Stotfold F.C. Lottery" rule 12d, or 12e, the whole of the sums collected by the "Stotfold F.C. Lottery" shall after all expenses become the property of Stotfold and Stotfold Junior Football Clubs jointly. No monies raised by the "Stotfold F.C. Lottery" shall be paid to "Stotfold F.C. Lottery" members other than in drawn prizes.

12. Membership of the "Stotfold F.C. Lottery" shall cease forthwith upon one of the following events.
a) Death of the member or termination of membership in accordance with club rule 5c or 12c.
b) Non payment of any standing order payment by a "Stotfold F.C. Lottery" member.
c) A "Stotfold F.C. Lottery" member giving one month's written notice to the promoter on or before the 30th day of the month that he wishes to cease to be a participant in the "Stotfold F.C. Lottery". No monies received from the member prior to cancellation of membership will be repaid other than in prizes.
d) The promoter giving not less than three months notice of termination of the "Stotfold F.C. Lottery".
e) The dissolution of Stotfold Football Club.

13. Membership of the "Stotfold F.C. Lottery" is continuous. Membership spaces will be offered to new members as available but the club membership will be restricted to 500 members. Existing members will be given the opportunity to terminate their membership with normal notice periods if the "Stotfold F.C. Lottery" membership cost is increased.

14. Any unsold chances, numbers, tickets or shares remain the property of Stotfold Football and Stotfold Junior Football Clubs.
